After adequate recovery from your surgery, you may fly home. Be sure to inform Dr. Alexander if you are flying to and from the surgery so he can provide you with an accurate time frame.
If you plan to fly home after your surgery, Dr. Alexander recommends avoiding lifting or pulling heavy luggage and recommends your travel companion assist you with this.

Patients will need to see Dr. Alexander after surgery to ensure proper healing. Some procedures require a longer stay if there are sutures or drains that need to be removed. Additional follow up appointments may be in-person if you travel back to Las Vegas or by Telehealth from the convenience of your home.
