Dr. George John Alexander is a board-certified plastic and cosmetic surgeon. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He has close to 20 years of surgical experience. He specializes in procedures that enable men and women to achieve a more attractive and youthful appearance.
Dr. Alexander has excelled in his field from the time he graduated at the top of his class and received his M.D. from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. He was selected for membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, a prestigious medical academic society. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Alexander continued his medical training with 5 years of internship and residency in general surgery and 3 years in plastic and reconstructive surgery (one of the most extensive training programs you will ever find in a cosmetic surgeon). During this training, Dr. Alexander was identified by the United States government as the number one doctor in his program.
Dr. Alexander has been the trusted surgeon of other doctors and their families. One reason for this is because they trust his skills. More recent accomplishments include Dr. Alexander being the Founder and past Chief of Plastic Surgery at Mike O’Callaghan Federal Hospital in Las Vegas. Dr. Alexander is currently Chief of Plastic Surgery at Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas. He has been awarded two Surgeon General Awards for his accomplishments in plastic surgery. Over the years, in many different surveys, Dr. Alexander has been voted among Las Vegas’ top doctors for plastic surgery. Dr. Alexander was also honored by his selection as one of the “Distinguished Men in Southern Nevada” (pub., Distinguished Pub. Co., Library of Congress ISSN 1520-4146).
